Tongluo experience class-a shocking journey of dancing with the body and mind
Have you ever been attracted by the profound sound of a gong?
Or, curious about how besides "hearing" sounds, how can they be felt by the body?

This 1.5-hour experience class allows you to not only listen to the distant sound of the gong, but also to further feel the intimate connection between you and the gong.

There is no need for any music foundation or previous exposure to sound therapy. In this experience class, you will practice:
Get to know Tongluo
Hit it with your own hands
Feel the changes in the body caused by sound and vibration

When the gong sounds, the sound is no longer just a sound, sometimes it is a subtle vibration; sometimes it is a deep and powerful resonance. In the sound layer by layer, the attention is slowly brought back to the body, and the self at this moment is re-experienced.

You are invited to walk into the space woven by sound with a little curiosity, and take a journey of resonance with your body and mind through listening, percussion and feeling.

Common Q&A

Q: I have never had any experience with gongs or sound therapy. Can I participate?
A: Yes. This class is designed for experience and does not require any prior knowledge of music, instruments or sound therapy.
Q: I am a "Muggle" and can't feel any energy. Is it suitable?
A: Very suitable. Some people will noticeably feel the vibrations, some will feel relaxed, and some will simply enjoy the sound. You don't need to pursue special feelings, just observe your body.
Q: Can I hit the gong by myself during the course?
A: Yes. In addition to listening, you will also actually touch and strike the gong with your own hands to feel the sounds and vibrations caused by different striking methods.
Q: How is it different from ordinary gong baths?
A: Most of the gong baths involve lying down and listening to the sounds; in this experience, in addition to feeling the sounds, you will also get to know the gongs and strike them yourself, changing from a mere listener to a participant in the sounds.
Q: What do I need to prepare?
A: It is recommended to wear clothing that is comfortable and convenient for movement and lying down to rest.
